Our two biggest annual fundraisers have been cancelled, like most events, amid the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a unique and scary time, and we are all wary of the unknowns: they’re too numerous to count; the future is uncertain.

But we also know that the coming fire season will happen, on schedule, independent of the curve of Covid. We know that our crews will be on the fireline, responding to emergencies, and the matrix of risk will be more complicated than ever before. This fire season’s potential for accident, injury, and particularly illness are magnified—potentially dramatically.
Historically our fundraisers benefit both the USHA, and our partner philanthropic organizations in the Wildlands fire community. We seek to continue this practice with funds raised by virtual fundraisers we host.

Any amount of generosity is incredibly appreciated.
